As Land Acquisition Manager, you will work with the MJP team to manage residential land acquisition deals as they progress from identification to due diligence, contract management, and entitlements & zoning through applicable governmental authorities. You will identify and foster relationships with brokers, home builders, industry organizations, banks, and other lenders as well as other industry stakeholders for identifying land deals.  MJP offers a competitive salary and benefits including health insurance, paid time off and commission structure.

Our ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of real estate entitlement and acquisition experience, preferably in single family residential development and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, business/finance or a related field.  Candidate shall exhibit proficiency in financial modeling and proforma creation for new residential development opportunities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Excel and ability to read survey documents and civil engineering construction documents.
